Every father's responsibility

This is great. My friend Spencer sent this link to me. Its about a father who found his daughter with a naked boy in her room. Apparently the boy has been sneaking in there with his daughter for the last year.

The man was so caught off guard that he "whacked" the kid with a metal pipe! Oh man, that is awesome. Unfortunately the man was charged with aggravated battery on the kid and put in jail with a bond of $10,000. Ouch.

So lets be honest, did the act justify the consequences. In my opinion.... YES! The only thing I want to know is where did the guy hit the naked boy..... oooohhh!

Sorry I've been reading the 2009 Farmer's almanac for the last 4 months

I'm alive!!!! Sorry I took a hiatus this summer to fish and improve my relations with British parliament... and yes, the fishing was fantastic. Buy hey, I'm back, and lets be honest since I left your life has not been the same. When I last left you, a poll stated that the meager followers that did read my blog wanted to hear about the olympics. Well here it goes: The 12 year old chinese girls beat us good.

I do however want to talk about a article that came out today about the new 2009 Farmer's almanac - probably the greatest source of knowledge for retirees. An article located here talks about the Almanac predicting Global cooling for the next half century. So wait, the earth is cooling? Global warming enthusiasts - "Oh thats just a sign of global warming." Wait, so now global warming is global cooling.... I'm confused. Ok, so let me try to figure this out... by getting cooler, we are getting warmer.... hmmm....

Joking aside, do we need to be concerned about our planet? I believe we do, heck, we are stewards of it. And as stewards, we must be concerned about the ability of our planet to perform its proper functions. But!!!!! you don't see me running to the local windfarm to build a windmill in my backyard to "do my part"

Lets be honest, is that data that were basing Global warming on, really that accurate? Well, I suppose according to scientific theory its pretty good. Oh yeah, I forgot that we have millions of years of data.... wait we dont? Oh man, then why have I been paying attention to the news so much? But honestly, scientists who try to publish data against global warming get publicity right?.... they dont? Oh crap.

My opinion... we do whats not only good for our planet, but also benefits us as stewards. If that be investing in alternative energy sources, then all guns ahead. But prudence must be used. We have too many fanatics that are running out there buying Hybrids because "its my responsibility" without checking the facts. For example, a hybrid can take over 6 years to realize any benefits through gas because of their increased price.... but wait they help the environment don't they.... huh, your telling me their batteries have been shown to be harmful? Oh man this all getting so confusing.
